LEXINGTON, KY. (July 29, 2025) – Country music icon, John Michael Montgomery, brings “The Road Home Tour” back to Kentucky for his farewell performance.  It will be a night to remember as Montgomery takes one final ride through his storied career on Friday, December 12, at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY.

Brought to Rupp Arena by OUTBACK PRESENTS, this special concert will be a historical moment capping off the superstar’s illustrious run, but to make it even more special, it will be a complete family affair, as he shares the stage with his brother Eddie Montgomery (Montgomery Gentry), his son Walker Montgomery, and his son-in-law Travis Denning.  The star-studded concert promises to be the event of the year.

“I stepped on a tour bus for the first time in 1992 and haven’t looked back since, but now it’s time to bring it all back home for my last concert and I can’t think of a better place than Rupp Arena.  I wanted to celebrate this occasion with my family so I invited some of them to perform with me.  We are going to have a lot of fun and end this ride in a big way,” says Montgomery.

A fixture on the charts in the 1990s with hits like “Life's A Dance,” “I Love The Way You Love Me,” “Sold,” "Be My Baby Tonight,” “I Swear,” and many more, Montgomery charted a whopping 36 singles throughout his decades-long career, including seven that reached No. 1, and released 11 studio albums amassing millions in sales, and receiving numerous Multi-Platinum and Gold RIAA plaques, as well as countless music industry awards and nominations.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 10 A.M. on Friday, August 1 at Ticketmaster.com, RuppArena.com, or in person at the Central Bank Center Box Office from 12-4 P.M. on Wednesdays and Fridays.
