LEXINGTON, KY (March 16, 2026) –– On Wednesday, May 20, A Flock of Seagulls will be performing at the Lexington Opera House, with STRANGELOVE — The Depeche Mode Experience. As well known for their bizarrely teased haircuts as for their hit single "I Ran (So Far Away)," A Flock of Seagulls were one of the most infamous one-hit wonders of the new wave era. Growing out of the synth-heavy and stylish new romantic movement, they were slightly too robotic and arrived a little too late to be true new romantics, but their sleek dance-pop was forever indebted to the short-lived movement.

Joining them, STRANGELOVE — The Depeche Mode Experience, brings the revolutionary sounds of the ‘80s back to life. Songs from across the Depeche Mode catalog of over fifty chart-topping hits are lovingly recreated, capturing the look, feel, and youthful energy of a classic-era DM arena show. No detail of STRANGELOVE’s presentation is overlooked: stage set pieces and in-show costume changes reflect different eras of Depeche Mode’s story.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 10 A.M. on Friday, March 20, at ticketmaster.com, lexingtonoperahouse.com, or in person at the Central Bank Center Box Office from 12-4 P.M. on Wednesdays and Fridays.
