While continuing to monitor the latest health and safety guidelines from local and national authorities, UK Athletics plans to operate venues at full capacity this season.
Regardless of vaccination status, all guests, staff and vendors will be required to wear a mask while visiting Rupp Arena. Fans will not be required to show proof of vaccination to enter Rupp Arena, but face coverings – covering the nose and mouth – are required for all fans as they watch the game from their assigned seat and enter, exit and move around Rupp Arena. Children 2 and younger will not be required to wear a mask. If spectators are unable to wear masks, they are encouraged not to attend games in person for the sake of their health and the health of others.
The Wildcats are back for an exciting 2021-2022 Kentucky Basketball Season! Lexington, Kentucky, is home to the gold standard in college basketball, and the winningest program in NCAA Men's Division I. Rupp Arena is the largest arena in the United States built specifically for basketball, with an official capacity of 20,500. Let's go BBN!
Patrons may only have one clear bag (no larger than 12"x12"x6") or one small clutch purse, with or without handle or strap (no larger than 9”x 5”) for personal items. Purses and bags larger than these sizes are strictly prohibited. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose. All bags and items will be searched. To avoid additional touch points, patrons are strongly encouraged to leave unnecessary items at home. Diaper Bags may exceed this size requirement, please see Guest Services desk for a visual inspection.
